Bisogna spessorarli con cura utilizzando spessori in acciao (non usare quelli in rame o ottone nickelato) perchè il dente inclinato crea delle spinte coassiali al perno che potrebbero far usurare velocemente gli spessori di metalli teneri come rame e ottone.
