The Daniel Defense RIS III 12.5" SA-E28 EDGE Gen.2 is a Specna Arms electric airsoft rifle manufactured under official Daniel Defense by EMG license. It features metal receivers and a 12.5" aluminum Daniel Defense RIS III handguard with M-LOK compatibility, an angled foregrip and standard 20 mm side rails.

The EDGE Gen.2 configuration combines the HAL2 electronic system, Æther gearbox, TDC Magnus rotary Hop-Up chamber with Helium Flat Hop bucking, 6.03 mm precision inner barrel and ESA quick-change spring system.

The Æther gearbox uses a reinforced shell covered by European Patent No. 015044865-0001 and incorporates dedicated inspection, adjustment and maintenance features.

HAL2 System

The Specna Arms HAL2 uses a magnetic Hall-effect trigger with sensitivity of up to 500 points. The system provides fast response and is designed to remain unaffected by dirt and external light. It is also compatible with standard triggers.

The integrated Bluetooth Low Energy module provides smartphone connectivity. Through the free Specna Link app, users can configure rifle settings, create multiple profiles and monitor its parameters and status.
